Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 38+ or similar
For the AppImage, make it executable first: chmod +x LampRabit_*.AppImage. For the .deb: sudo apt install ./LampRabit_*.deb.
macOSPreview
macOS 11 Big Sur or later
Preview: Apache, Nginx and PHP builds for macOS are new, and MariaDB and MySQL can't be downloaded there yet. Redis, Mailpit, tunnels and Node.js projects work.
macOS says the app can't be opened because it isn't signed yet. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
After installing
- 1Open Services and install Apache (or Nginx), PHP and MariaDB or MySQL. Pick any versions you like.
- 2Click Start all. On Windows, LampRabit offers to install the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime if it’s missing.
- 3Put a project in www (C:\lampRabit\www on Windows, ~/lampRabit/www elsewhere) or click New project, then open https://name.test.
The database user is root with no password, like XAMPP and Laragon.
Build from source
You need Node.js 22+, Rust (stable) and the Tauri prerequisites for your OS.
